How deep is the river?

The average depth is 1 1/2 to 3 feet deep.

How fast does the water flow?

The river current will run about four miles an hour with no white water rapids.

What is a safe age to canoe?

Canoeing is fun and safe for all ages. Small children must be large enough to wear a life jacket.

Are there any additional fees for equipment or transportation?

No, everything is included in our rental fee. There are no hidden costs.

Are picnic areas available?

Yes, there are picnic sites with water and restrooms at approximately 1 1/2 hour intervals down the river. You are also welcome to relax and picnic at Campbell’s before or after your river trip. Camping on the river is also available.

Are there any off-season rates?

Yes, we offer discounts for rental in May, September and October. Also, ask us about our group rates.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard. No checks please.

What time do you open?

Sunday through Friday we open at 10:00 A.M. Saturdays and holidays we open at 9:00 A.M. We are happy to accommodate earlier departures anytime, just call ahead.

Do you take reservations?

Yes, we recommend that you make reservations for all trips, especially for peak Saturdays and holidays. However, walk-ins are always welcome. There is also no cost to cancel or change your reservation.

Do you provide "car spots" or auto shuttles for persons with their own boat?

Yes, we are happy to help you enjoy the river in any way we can. Private “car spots” may not always be available, so please call ahead.
